Sensex down 128pts; JP Associates drops 4%

The NSE Nifty is down 32 points at 5,160.

Jaiprakash (JP) Associates has slumped 3.7% to Rs 276, and Bharti Airtel has plunged 3.5% to Rs 863.

Reliance Energy has tumbled nearly 3% to Rs 1,474. DLF and Infosys have slipped 2.5% each at Rs 688 and Rs 1,744, respectively.

Wipro, Maruti and Mahindra & Mahindra have dropped around 2% each at Rs 480, Rs 768 and Rs 768, respectively.

HDFC and ACC have shed 1.5% each at Rs 2,667 and Rs 746, respectively.

SBI, BHEL and Grasim have declined over 1% each to Rs 1,758, Rs 1,885 and Rs 2,357, respectively.

 

Satyam and Tata Motors are down over 1% each to Rs 482 and Rs 678, respectively.

ITC has surged over 2% to Rs 225. Hindustan Unilever, Tata Steel and Cipla have gained over 1.5% each at Rs 252, Rs 815 and Rs 219, respectively.

ONGC is up 1% at Rs 1,050.
