'Divorce' gets season 3 premiere date
"Divorce", starring Sarah Jessica Parker, is set to return for its third season on July 1. Created by Sharon Horgan, the HBO comedy drama chronicles the trials and tribulations of Frances (Parker) as she tries to make a fresh start. The new installment will see Frances and ex-husband Robert (played by Thomas Haden Church) encounter surprises that spin their post-divorce lives in unexpected directions, the network said in a synopsis as quoted by Deadline. Molly Shannon, Talia Balsam, Tracy Letts, Sterling Jerins, Charlie Kilgore and Becki Newton are also a part of the cast. The series is executive produced by Parker, Alison Benson and Aaron Kaplan of Kapital Entertainment.
Taylor Swift shuts down question about turning 30
Taylor Swift shut down a sexist question about turning 30 during an interview with a German radio station. The singer, who turns a year older this December, was asked if it were a milestone moment for her when it comes to settling down, getting married to boyfriend Joe Alwyn and starting a family. "I really doubt men get asked the same question when they turn 30. So I'm not going to answer that question now," Swift pointed out to RTL station, as quoted by Billboard. However, the singer went on to shed some light into how she believes her 30s would be better than her 20s. "I hear others say that one in his thirties no longer has as much stress and anxiety in life as in my twenties. "And I can join in the observation that we are in our twenties looking to gain experience, try things out, fail, make mistakes," she said.

'AP Bio' cancelled after two seasons
Comedy "AP Bio" has been cancelled at NBC after two seasons. Series creator Mike O'Brien made the announcement on Twitter on Saturday. "I'm intensely sad to announce that AP Bio will be ending after this season. This has been my favorite project of my life and that's because of the amazing writers, cast and crew. NOTA: Marginal hike in Delhi's satellite constituencies
Delhi's satellite districts of Gurgaon, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Gautam Buddh Nagar witnessed a marginal hike in NOTA voters in the Lok Sabha elections, accounting for 26,241 votes, according to official data. The maximum None Of The Above (NOTA) voters were from Gautam Buddh Nagar, while Gurgaon had the lowest NOTA numbers, the Election Commission data showed. Altogether Gurgaon, Faridabad, Gautam Buddh Nagar and Ghaziabad had 26,241 NOTA votes this time, up from 15,577 in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, when the choice was first made available to voters in parliamentary elections, it showed. Gurgaon registered 5,389 NOTA votes (0.37 per cent of total votes cast), up from 2,658 from 2014 (0.20 per cent of total votes cast), according to the data. The 'Millennium City' elected BJP's Rao Inderjit Singh with a vote share of 60.94 per cent, while Congress' Ajay Singh got 34.24 per cent votes and BSP's Chaudhary Rais Ahmed could manage 1.85 per cent of all votes cast. 'Super 30' to now release on July 12
Hrithik Roshan's long awaited "Super 30" is all set to arrive in the theatres on July 12, the makers have announced. Earlier this month, Hrithik said he was shifting the release date of "Super 30" to save his film from being "desecrated by yet another media circus". The date was yet to be declared. The actor's statement came after the release of Kangana Ranaut's "Mental Hai Kya" was shifted to July 26, only to coincide with the then theatrical arrival of "Super 30", a claim producer Ekta Kapoor dismissed, saying the decision had nothing to do with Kangana's equation with Hrithik. After turning producer and writer with her acclaimed short "Chutney", actor Tisca Chopra has penned a feature film script of a thriller, which is currently in the final stage. Chopra said she is also developing stories for the digital medium as a producer. "We are doing some stuff for the web, writing it and are in the process of putting it out there. There is a feature film ready now, in terms of the script. It is almost done. I have written the script, it is a thriller and now we will be getting into the casting soon," she told PTI.
