Twelve more people succumbed to COVID-19 in Rajasthan, raising the death toll to 9,391, while 2,298 fresh infections were reported on Monday, official data showed. A total of 403 new cases were recorded in Jaipur, 239 in Jodhpur, 131 in Jhunjhunu, 123 in Alwar, 114 in Rajsamand, 105 in Bhilwara, 104 in Pali. According to the Health Department data, 7,299 more people recoveredfrom the infection, while the count of active COVID-19 cases stands at 40,880 in the state. Of the 12 new coronavirus-related fatalities, two each were in Jaipur-Jhalwad-Sikar and one each in Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Bharatpur, Bikaner, Kota.

Rajasthan on Sunday reported 4,509 new Covid cases and seven more deaths, officials said. According to the health department, the new cases include 803 from Jaipur, 365 from Jodhpur, 278 from Udaipur, 245 from Alwar, 217 from Ganganagar, 214 from Ajmer. A total of 9,752 people have recovered from the infection while 45,893 patients are under treatment. Of the seven deaths, four were reported from Jaipur, and one each from Jhunjhunu, Jodhpur, and Sikar. The state's death toll stands at 9,379, they said.

Rajasthan on Wednesday recorded 21 deaths and 13,049 fresh COVID-19 cases, an official report said. The new infected include 2,234 in Jaipur, 1,846 in Alwar, 1,000 in Jodhpur, 801 in Ganganagar, 673 in Udaipur, 588 in Bharatpur, and 558 in Ajmer. According to the health department data, 11,572 people recovered from infection on Wednesday. Active cases in the state currently stand at 94,148. Out of the 21 deaths, four each occurred in Jaipur and Jodhpur, two each in Bikaner and Nagaur, and one each in Ajmer, Alwar, Barmer, Dungarpur, Jalore, Jhunjhunu Kota, Sikar, and Udaipur. A total of 9,161 people have lost their lives to the virus infection since the beginning of pandemic.
