Gujarat BJP leader's website hacked

A personal website of Gujarat BJP vice-president I K Jadeja was hacked Tuesday and "Pakistan Zindabad" was written on it, he said. "Someone hacked my personal website www.ikjadeja.in and posted 'Pakistan Zindabad' it its Blog section. I have taken steps to delete that," the former state minister told reporters. A screenshot of the hacked page was doing rounds on social media.

Robotic surgery on two-day-old, a first in Asia: PGIMER

A team of pediatric surgeons from PGIMER, Chandigarh claimed to have successfully treated a two-day-old newborn with robotic surgery. This is the first time in Asia that such a young baby has been operated on using robotic facility, a statement issued by Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research claimed here on Tuesday. The baby was born recently with an absent food pipe and was unable to take his feeds. This condition is known as oesophageal atresia in scientific terms. "He was two days old and weighed only 2,500 grams at the time of birth. The baby was born at a multi-specialty hospital in sector-16, Chandigarh. Conventionally, these babies are operated by opening their chest to repair the food pipe within first two-three days after birth. "This is a very advanced surgery in which the oesophageal reconstruction is done so early in life," the statement said. The department of pediatric surgery here has been operating on babies since the early 1980s and is the largest .

Cash for tweet: Celebs caught on camera agreeing to post online for political parties

More than 30 Bollywood celebrities, including Jackie Shroff, Kailash Kher and Vivek Oberoi, have allegedly been caught in a sting operation for agreeing to promote the agenda of parties on social media platforms in exchange for money, online portal Cobrapost claimed on Tuesday. Operation Karaoke by Cobrapost had its reporters posing as representatives from a public relations company and meeting actors, singers, dancers and TV stars through their managers to allegedly strike a deal ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The seventh National Photography Awards were given to 13 winners by Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Rathore at a function held at the National Media Centre here on Tuesday. Iconic fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld dies in Paris

Fashion legend Karl Lagerfeld, the rockstar designer behind the rebirth of Chanel and Fendi, has died in Paris. He was 85. According to French magazine Closer, the German-born designer was not keeping well and breathed his last on Tuesday in a Paris hospital. The cause of his death was not immediately known. "Riverdale" star Lili Reinhart has restarted her therapy sessions to deal with her anxiety and depression issues. The 22-year-old actor shared the news on her Instagram story on Friday where she asked her fans to not neglect their own mental health problems. "Friendly reminder for anyone who needs to hear it: Therapy is never something to feel ashamed of. Everyone can benefit from seeing a therapist. Thousands of people turned up on the banks of river Ganga in Haridwar Tuesday to bid a tearful farewell to Major Vibhuti Shankar Dhoundiyal, who died fighting terrorists in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir.
