Director Roman Polanski's wife slammed Quentin Tarantino for not discussing the story of 'Once Upon A Time in Hollywood' with her husband, which features the murder story of Polanski's ex-wife, Sharon Tate.According to Emmanuelle Seigner's Instagram post shared on Friday, Deadline reported that she wrote harsh words for the director. She wrote that Tarantino was "using the tragic life of someone and then walking all over them" to tell a story.Polanski's ex-wife was murdered in 1969 by the members of the Manson family. Seigner wrote that Tarantino should have spoken to her husband about the film's treatment of that tragic incident."I am just saying that it doesn't bother them (in Hollywood) to make a film which takes Roman and his tragic story... while at the same time they have made him a pariah. John Abraham injured during 'Pagalpanti' shoot

John Abraham was injured while shooting for an action scene for his upcoming film "Pagalpanti". A source close to the development said the actor has suffered a muscle injury and will be unable to shoot for the next few days. "It is a muscle injury on his left bicep. It's a tear so he has to take rest for few days. He is currently undergoing treatment and won't be shooting for the film for the next few days," the source said. The film, directed by Anees Bazmee, also stars Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, Ileana D'Cruz and Kriti Kharbanda. It is slated to release on November 22.

Taika Waititi's 'Akira' movie gets May 2021 release date

Filmmaker Taika Waititi's live-action film "Akira" has been given the release date of May 21, 2021. An adaptation of Katsuhiro Otomos manga series of the same name, the project has been long in the making. Jordan Peele, George Miller, Christopher Nolan and Justin Lin were all circling the project at some point in the last few years. Waititi, who directed Marvel's blockbuster "Thor: Ragnarok", boarded the project in 2017. Clint Eastwood's 'The Ballad Of Richard Jewell' moves to Warner Bros

Veteran actor-director Clint Eastwood's next project, "The Ballad of Richard Jewell", has shifted base from Disney/Fox to Warner Bros. The movie is based on the life of Richard Jewell, the security guard who had sounded alert after discovering a bomb at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. The bomb did go off and claimed the life of a person while injuring several others. Jewell was later under the media spotlight after he emerged as one of the possible suspects in bombing. He was vilified and painted as a terrorist. But he was cleared as a suspect three months later. He died at the age of 44 in 2007. According to The Wrap, Warner Bros has acquired the rights to release the film, which was previously at Disney-Fox. Eastwood is set to direct the film with screenwriter Billy Ray penning the script, based on a Marie Brenner article in Vanity Fair.
