'Sadak 2' first schedule wrapped

It's the first schedule wrap for "Sadak 2", actor Pooja Bhatt announced on Thursday. "Sadak 2" is a sequel to the 1991 original, which starred Pooja and Sanjay Dutt. Both Sanjay and Pooja are returning for the sequel. The actor took to Twitter to share the news. "And it's a wrap for our first schedule of 'Sadak 2'. You know you're onto something special when you wake up the morning after with a longing to be back on set. Thank you @MaheshNBhatt @duttsanjay @aliaa08 @visheshfilms #JayPatel #AkiNarula and the entire crew for everything and more," Pooja tweeted alongside a photo from the movie sets. Mahesh Bhatt, who also helmed the original film, is returning to the director's chair after almost two decades with the follow-up. It also marks his first collaboration with daughter Alia. His last directorial was 1999 film "Kartoos". Actor Aditya Roy Kapoor is a new addition to the cast along with Alia. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on July 10, 2020.

Forest Whitaker teaming up with Netflix for 'Hello, Universe'

Netflix has announced a new live-action family film "Hello, Universe", to be produced by Oscar winner Forest Whitaker. The project is based on the 2018 Newbery Award winning, New York Times bestselling novel of the same name by Erin Entrada Kelly, the streaming giant said in a statement. Whitaker, 57, will produce the film alongside Nina Yang Bongiovi of Significant Productions. The story follows a bully's antics landing a timid boy in the bottom of a well, leading to his self-proclaimed psychic friend and unknowing crush teaming up to find him. The story is told from four intertwining points of view -- two boys and two girls. Playwright and screenwriter Michael Golamco is adapting Kelly's book. The streaming company slate of live-action movies featuring kids and teens and made for families includes the upcoming comedy "Tall Girl", directed by Nzingha Stewart from a script by Sam Wolfson and produced by Wonderland's McG, Mary Viola and Corey Marsh. Actor Daniel Craig, who was recently injured while filming for the upcoming Bond 25, will undergo a "minor ankle surgery", the producers have said. The official Twitter handle of the franchise revealed the actor sustained the injury during a shooting schedule in Jamaica and the rest of cast will keep on filming while he recuperates. "BOND 25 update: Daniel Craig will be undergoing minor ankle surgery resulting from an injury sustained during filming in Jamaica.
