'Killing Eve' scores top honours at BAFTA TV Awards

"Killing Eve" emerged the biggest winner at BAFTA's British Academy Television Awards, scooping the trophies of best drama series and best leading actress for Jodie Comer. According to BAFTA official website, the hit show also took home the best supporting actress for Fiona Shaw. IFFI's golden jubilee poster to be released at Cannes Film Festival

Indian Delegation will release a special poster at 2019's Cannes Film Festival to mark the golden jubilee of International Film Festival of India (IFFI). The delegation, led by Information & Broadcasting Secretary Amit Khare, will promote the golden jubilee edition of IFFI at Cannes. IFFI will be held in Goa later this year. The film delegation consists of Prasoon Joshi, Chairman, Central Board of Film Certification and acclaimed filmmakers Rahul Rawail, Shaji N Karun and Madhur Bhandarkar. The delegation will also promote steps taken to ease shooting films in India through Film Facilitation Office that facilitates single window clearance for filmmakers and steps by the government to combat film piracy. Actor Abhimanyu Singh has been cast as the antagonist in Rohit Shetty's cop drama "Sooryavanshi", featuring Akshay Kumar in the lead. Three vehicles were damaged after a convoy of actor and BJP candidate from Gurdaspur Lok Sabha constituency Sunny Deol met with an accident at Sohal village here on Monday.Sunny's convoy collided with the vehicles, which were coming from the opposite side of the road of Gurdaspur-Amritsar National Highway. Spy drama series "Whiskey Cavalier" will not be renewed for a second season by ABC network. The series will be shopped to other platforms by the Warner Bros Television.
